I've recently graduated with an Honours BSc in Statistics with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa and am currently working on the Development and PA testing team for Canada Border Services Agency. When I'm not trying to learn more about machine learning and AI, taking on side projects in R, or diving into stats about anything and everything, you'll find me talking about basketball, watching the next best show on Netflix, or in the middle of an apparent "#1 Best-Seller". If you want to learn more about my accomplishments, check out my resume. If you want to see what i've been up to, check out any of my socials!
Using Figma, worked with developers and stakeholders to create mockups of Onboarding and Home Page designs that would be implemented in a social media app. The app will be launching on the iOS App Store in July!
Using R, my team and I took datasets containing Historical Flight Paths and created a predictive model that would output a time-weighted probablity distribution along with heat maps that will help Telesat determine where their new Telesat LEO satellites should be placed, in order for airplanes to recieve maximum wifi coverage.
Using R, my team and I took PDF-format construction incident reports relating to pipelines and created a tool that would scrape tables from the PDF to link reported data and the tables to determine and provide reccomendations as to how construction incidents can be prevented when working with pipelines.
Check out their website to be a part of the team or participate in the next hackathon!
Given a pdf file, a script that can scrape all tables within it.
